The Continental LMS70 winter tire is designed for small commercial vehicles. It is distinguished by reliable traction properties on slippery surfaces, comfortable handling under significant weight loads, fuel efficiency, and high mileage.
The tread pattern is designed in a non-directional design. Large elements, their placement, and the optimized profile of the tire's tread increase the contact patch and, along with it, traction on dry pavement, as well as reduce wear. Triangular blocks are connected by longitudinal "bridges", forming four massive ribs. This solution reduces rolling resistance, ensures directional stability, and precision handling at high speeds under significant weight loads. Sinusoidal lamellas increase traction and braking intensity on wet and icy surfaces.
Key features:
- increased contact patch and its stability in any driving mode improves traction on dry pavement and reduces wear;
- "bridges" between blocks reduce rolling resistance and increase tire mileage;
- excellent traction and short braking distance on snow and ice due to the large number of transverse edges.
