The all-season tire Continental Contrans LM90 is designed for intensive use on any road surfaces, including unpaved ones. It is installed on light trucks and pickups, as well as on special equipment based on them. It is characterized by improved traction properties on unstable soil surfaces, as well as on snow, while distinguishing itself with a soft ride, wear resistance, and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of a large number of small blocks that form multidirectional high edges. This provides the tire with efficiency off-road and on snow. The increased distance between the blocks allows the tread to not "get clogged" off-road, maintaining high traction in the most difficult conditions. The optimized tread profile and the arrangement of its pattern elements increase the contact patch, creating conditions for a more even distribution of the vehicle's weight on the road surface. This significantly improves traction and handling on asphalt and solid soil surfaces, substantially slowing down the wear process. It's also worth noting the use of a special rubber compound. Its increased resistance to abrasion, punctures, and tears significantly increases the tire's lifespan.
Key features of Continental Contrans LM90
- open tread pattern with small blocks is effective on loose unstable soil surfaces and snow;
- numerous lamellae improve traction properties in winter and on wet surfaces;
- special shape of the tread profile and arrangement of its pattern elements improve handling on paved roads, increase wear resistance.
