Continental ContiWinterContact 8 S – new tire from a well-known manufacturer, designed for operation in the winter period on most modern passenger cars. The model provides high maneuvering accuracy, as well as the ability to drive at high speeds. At the same time, it is adapted for installation on electric vehicles. The tire provides low rolling resistance, and is also able to withstand increased torque, demonstrated by electric vehicles, while maintaining its integrity and geometry.

The tire's tread is made in a classic design for winter operation – a V-shaped structure with numerous wavy lamellas. Due to this, the efficiency of grip was achieved, including on wet asphalt. A wide contact patch with pronounced shoulder zones allows the vehicle to be held firmly, preventing skidding. At the same time, the tread, developed with the help of modern modeling methods, demonstrates low rolling resistance. This provides fuel savings, which is especially relevant for electric vehicles.

A special compound is used in the model, which maintains its effectiveness over a wide temperature range. This was achieved through the use of special components that preserve the elasticity of the rubber mixture. Therefore, even high-speed driving cannot harm the tire.
