The Continental ContiVikingContact 3 tire is a friction, winter model that perfectly combines various characteristics necessary for safe and confident driving in harsh winter conditions. During its development, the company's designers tried to take into account possible operating conditions, and they succeeded.
To obtain excellent characteristics, the latest achievements of the tire industry were used. The entire technological process was carefully controlled, so the tire has excellent quality and meets world standards. The unique asymmetric tread pattern, obtained as a result of 3D modeling, provides excellent performance on winter road surfaces. Optimally selected elements and distances between them made it possible to achieve an excellent combination of passability and safety. Massive blocks, cut by lamellas at different angles, increase the traction and coupling properties of the Continental ContiVikingContact 3 tire, which are so necessary on slippery and cold roads. To increase safety and resistance to overloads that constantly occur in winter, a reinforced carcass made of high-strength nylon cord was developed.
To increase wear resistance and coupling, special components were added to the rubber mixture. Due to the unique design of the carcass, the composition of the rubber mixture, and the tread pattern, the tire has increased comfort and softness. At the same time, it has a speed index Q, allowing movement at a speed of up to 160 km/h.
