The Continental ContiVanContact Ultra summer tire is designed for light commercial vehicles, suitable for installation in motorhomes and large minivans. It is characterized by a long service life and reliability on poor roads, stability at high speeds, and efficiency when braking on wet surfaces.

The tire's tread is made from a rubber compound whose properties have been specifically selected with regard to the characteristics of commercial vehicle operation. It is distinguished by its excellent resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and cuts. In turn, the increased thermal conductivity of the compound reduces the tire's heat buildup during prolonged high-speed driving, which further increases its mileage and reduces rolling resistance and fuel consumption. These properties are further enhanced by the design features of the tread pattern, which is dominated by large rigid elements. This solution also increases the stability of traction and precision handling at high speeds. The effectiveness of the tread on wet surfaces is ensured by the large number and length of block and lamella edges and the increased volume of drainage grooves.
