Excellent traction and handling are largely provided by the design of the shoulder areas of the tread. The blocks located here are optimized so that when multidirectional acceleration forces act on them, the contact patch remains as large as possible and does not change its size. Much of the benefits of this tire are provided by the Black Chilli rubber compound. Its main feature is polymer compounds that change the temperature characteristics of the compound depending on road conditions and driving mode.
