Specifications
DescriptionDescription Continental ContiSportContact 3 265/35 R19 94Y (N1)
The third model ContiSportContact — a car tire designed for the most exclusive and expensive sports cars and luxury vehicles. ContiSportContact 3 was designed with a focus on outstanding braking and handling capabilities in the most unpredictable conditions. Like all summer tires, this model cannot be used in winter, when there is snow or ice on the asphalt.
The ContiSportContact 3 has an asymmetric tread design that allows for equally effective handling on both dry and wet asphalt. The solid tread blocks and the central rib of the tire provide good response and handling in turns. The different sizes of the small blocks and the optimized size between them reduce the noise level caused by the tire's movement on the asphalt. The drainage grooves on the tread shoulders allow the tire to effectively handle water from under the contact patch. The risk of aquaplaning is significantly reduced.
Like most popular car tires, the Continental ContiSportContact 3 features a double steel cord reinforced with nylon for stabilizing the contact patch and improving road grip.
Differences of the Continental SportContact 3 tire from its predecessors
— braking distance reduced by 5%;
— risk of aquaplaning reduced by 6%;
— slip resistance increased by 5%;
— durability increased by 5%.
