Description Continental ContiPremierContact
Continental ContiPremierContact – a radial tubeless model installed on passenger vehicles, namely: sedans, wagons, and crossovers. The latest technologies were used in the creation of the tire, which made it possible to achieve a high level of traction, comfort, and safety of the trip. The tire is intended for use in the summer period of the year, but due to its excellent operational and technical characteristics, it also performs well at the beginning of winter on snowy roads. The model also handles black ice.
High traction characteristics are provided by the tread pattern and special rubber compound. The tread design is symmetrical and non-directional, characterized by the presence of many small elements and grooves that, in combination, allow the tread to literally "hug" every irregularity on the road and firmly contact any surface. The rubber compound was created using a special TriNetSilica technology, which allowed preserving the elasticity and flexibility of the tire, both in summer heat and winter frosts. For example, at the end of autumn, when the road freezes in the morning, heats up in the sun during the day, and cools down again in the evening, the tire demonstrates stable traction. Additionally, the grooves in the form of spikes allow the tread to instantly adapt to the road surface.
Numerous small grooves of complex shape are responsible for draining moisture from the contact patch area, and four wide and deep straight longitudinal channels serve as the basis. The drainage system allows to significantly reduce the risk of aquaplaning and slaloming.
Key features:
- excellent traction characteristics due to the special rubber compound and tread design;
- economy due to wear resistance and mechanical strength;
- safety of movement, ensured by special stiffness ribs.
