The Continental ContiEcoContact 6 Q ContiSeal summer tire is designed for most popular passenger cars. It belongs to the so-called "green" models, differing in excellent fuel efficiency and extended service life. In addition to these properties, it is characterized by reliable coupling properties and comfort in handling in difficult conditions.

Increased reliability

The use of the word ContiSeal in the tire name means the application of puncture sealing technology in its design. A special viscous material based on natural rubber, contained in the cavity, in the event of a through damage with a diameter of up to 6 mm, is pulled into the hole and almost instantly vulcanized, restoring the tightness of the tire. This allows you to continue driving, and there are no restrictions on further operation of the tire.

Fuel-saving tread pattern

The key advantage of this model is its excellent fuel efficiency. This was achieved through the application of a whole complex of technical solutions. One of them is the use of a tread pattern with solid longitudinal ribs in the central part and shoulder blocks connected to each other. The stability of the elements to deformation and their longitudinal orientation significantly reduce rolling resistance, as well as prevent uneven wear of the tread, increasing the life of the tire.

Improved rubber compound

The tire tread is made of a second-generation Green Chili compound. The key difference from the rubber mixture of the previous iteration is the change in the polymer composition, which allowed to further increase the strength of molecular bonds between all components. This reduces the heating of the tire during prolonged high-speed driving, thereby reducing rolling resistance, and also improves its resistance to abrasive wear.
