Description Continental ContiChampionContact
The Continental ContiChampionContact summer tire was created for vehicles that transported the organizers and guests of the 2006 World Football Championship. Later, the model became available to everyone. Structurally, it is a PremiumContact model with a modified sidewall design. In terms of its driving qualities, both tires are identical to each other.
One of the significant advantages of the tire is its braking efficiency, both on dry and wet surfaces. To a large extent, this is due to the use of "three-dimensional" lamellas located along the edges of the tread. Long transverse grooves, which, thanks to their ability to be fixed in the open position, make it possible to very effectively realize the braking force. It is worth noting here the open design of the shoulder areas with numerous wide grooves, as well as the large volume of drainage elements in the central part. This allows for the high-intensity removal of almost any excess moisture from the contact patch. Another important advantage of the shoulder area design is the presence of deformable blocks in them. Massive elements provide precision in control and stability, especially when changing direction.
Key features of the Continental ContiChampionContact
- thematic sidewall design;
- three-dimensional lamellas increase traction and reduce braking distance on wet surfaces;
- rigid blocks along the edges of the tread provide exceptional precision in handling at high speeds, increase stability when maneuvering;
- open shoulder areas with wide grooves provide excellent resistance to aquaplaning.
