The Continental ComtracWinterViking 1 winter tire is designed for small-capacity commercial vehicles. It is characterized by increased stability of coupling properties on any slippery surfaces and comfort in handling under significant weight loads.

The tread pattern is made in an "asymmetric" design with a large number of blocks. Their location and shape, combined with the optimized profile of the tread, increase the contact patch, improving traction on a dry, clean surface. The pressure on the road surface is distributed evenly, which is why, even under a large weight load, the tire is distinguished by comfort in handling. Efficiency on slippery, snowy, and icy surfaces is achieved due to the sharp, multidirectional edges formed by both the blocks and the lamellas cut into them.
