The all-season tire Continental AllSeasonContact ContiSeal is a modification of the same-name model for passenger cars. The key difference from it is the ability to continue moving after a puncture of the tread. In terms of handling, both models are identical to each other.
The tire uses ContiSeal technology, which makes it possible to continue driving in the event of a puncture of the tread. Its structure has a layer of special polymer. The viscous substance seals holes up to 5 mm in diameter, hardening when in contact with air.
The tread part of the tread is made of a rubber mixture, the composition of which is characterized by a high content of silicon dioxide. This substance gives the tire "grip" on any slippery surface and additionally increases its resistance to wear.
Another feature of the tire is high braking intensity on any surface. This is largely due to the significant length of the transverse edges, both of the blocks and the slotted lamellas.
Main features:
- an additional layer of polymer in the tread structure itself eliminates most small punctures;
- a rubber mixture with ultra-high silicon dioxide content enhances grip properties on slippery surfaces;
- elongated transverse edges of blocks and lamellas reduce the braking distance in any road conditions.
