Compasal Winter Stud (Нешип)

The non-studded version of the Compasal Winter Stud tire is designed for passenger cars used in winter conditions in urban and rural areas. The model is oriented for use on snow and wet cold asphalt, combining predictable handling, stability, and a high level of traction without the use of metal studs. According to the manufacturer, the tire is designed for a range of temperatures typical of a "European" winter.

The tread pattern is made in a directed V-shaped configuration with a developed network of lamellas, characteristic of "Scandinavian" models. This design, due to the large number of tread elements, forms an increased contact patch and provides effective work of the traction edges during acceleration and braking.

The central zone, composed of overlapping blocks, contributes to directional stability, and the branched longitudinal and transverse grooves actively drain water and snow slush, reducing the risk of slushplaning and loss of control on wet or uncleared surfaces.

Particular attention is paid to the "lamellation" of the tread. The numerous thin cuts increase traction on slippery surfaces and allow the tire to adapt to road irregularities. At the same time, the geometry of the blocks and lamellas is optimized to maintain stiffness, which has a positive effect on the stability of the vehicle during maneuvers and lane changes.

The design is completely borrowed from the studded version, which implies the presence of a strong carcass and additional layers of breaker. This provides a uniform distribution of load and stability of the tire shape, and contributes to uniform wear, maintaining working characteristics throughout the entire service life. The rubber compound with a high content of "silica" remains elastic at low temperatures, improving traction and reducing stiffness.
