Comforser Winter Pro-Blizzard (Non-Studded) — a winter tyre designed for crossovers, SUVs, and pickup trucks. This version is supplied without metal studs. The large-block tread pattern is engineered for winter road conditions: blocks, grooves, and dense siping work together to maintain traction, braking, and handling on snow and ice.
Large tread blocks form a distinct V-shaped structure, with grooves widening towards the shoulder areas. Saw-toothed shoulder grooves and snow evacuation channels help the tread self-clean by expelling packed snow. This ensures the working edges of the blocks remain in contact with the road surface, maintaining traction and braking performance in winter conditions.
Interlocking longitudinal blocks and grooves enhance directional stability. For the driver, this translates into a more stable driving trajectory and predictable steering response during harsh winter weather. Numerous biting edges engage at various angles, helping the tyre find grip during acceleration and changes in direction.
Blocks are cut with dense, wavy sipes that increase the number of active biting edges in the contact patch. These sipes maximize traction, braking, and handling on snow and ice. As a result, the vehicle responds more confidently to driver inputs on slippery surfaces, where every gripping edge plays a critical role.
Open spaces in the shoulder area facilitate snow ejection from the tread pattern and help blocks maintain their biting edges in loose, soft snow. The tread configuration is designed for more stable handling and responsive steering feedback in demanding winter conditions.
The 3PMSF marking confirms that the Winter Pro-Blizzard meets the requirements for tyres intended for severe snow conditions. For buyers, this means the tyre's snow performance has been verified through standardized testing, not just implied by a winter designation.
