The summer tire Chengshan CSR169 is designed for prolonged and intensive use on roads with any surface quality. A distinctive feature of the model is improved traction properties on wet surfaces and resistance to aquaplaning.
The tread pattern features wide grooves, many of which are directed against the direction of movement and have a curved shape. This design allows to significantly increase the intensity of excess moisture removal from the contact patch, preventing the formation of a continuous water film. This noticeably improves the reliability of handling on wet surfaces, along with the elongated edges of blocks and ribs, and a rubber compound with a high content of "silica".
