The Bridgestone Turanza GR80 summer tire belongs to the so-called "representative" category, i.e. this model is designed for sedans and wagons of the middle class. This tire is the result of the application of Uni-T AQII technology, the main component of which is computer modeling methods that have replaced millions of kilometers of real tests.

The main characteristic feature of the Bridgestone Turanza GR80 tire is the preservation of the main operational qualities throughout its lifespan. This was achieved thanks to a design solution from the world of motorsports. We are talking about a two-layer tread. The inner layer is made of a more elastic rubber compound. Over time, the upper layer gradually wears out and the softer rubber takes over, which with its increased elasticity almost completely compensates for the deterioration of the tire's operational characteristics, except, of course, for its resistance to aquaplaning. However, this is the only drawback, the main reason for which is the reduction of the tread depth.

- The Robust technology, which is a rounded profile of the shoulder zones of the tread, provides stability of the contact patch size regardless of the driving mode, which allows the tire to demonstrate excellent directional stability and handling, especially when making sharp maneuvers.
