In most countries of the world, the Bridgestone Turanza EL400 passenger tire is positioned as a model suitable for use all year round, i.e. even in winter. Taking into account the climatic conditions of our country, such use is possible only in the southern regions, where winters are not as harsh as in the north. Nevertheless, this in no way diminishes the wide possibilities of this tire, which demonstrates excellent operational properties in various weather conditions. This was achieved thanks to a whole complex of technical solutions combined in the UNI-T technology, which has proven itself well in a number of other models of this Japanese manufacturer.
Innovative compound composition
A significant part of the versatility of this model is ensured by the physicochemical properties of the rubber mixture. For the most part, it consists of silica. This component gives the tread increased elasticity over a wide temperature range. At the same time, it remains very resistant to both abrasive and uneven wear, which has a positive effect on the life of the tire. In addition to silica, the compound includes special polymeric compounds. They ensure the integrity of the tread by increasing its strength against rupture, which is achieved by strengthening the molecular bonds between all the components of the rubber mixture.
Low noise level
Like all other representatives of the Turanza line, this model on the move demonstrates a very low level of noise and vibration. This was achieved through the optimization of the tread pattern. All its elements have a 5-stage arrangement. This completely eliminates the possibility of resonance noise when driving.
Excellent handling
To give the tire its "signature" sporty handling, Japanese tire makers used several solutions at once. First of all, this is the optimized shape of the tire profile. Thanks to it, the contact patch remains unchanged even with strong lateral accelerations. This is largely facilitated by the design of the shoulder areas of the tread. It contains many very wide blocks that the tire relies on when cornering. In addition, their rigid design gives the tire quickness and accuracy in response to the driver's actions.
