The Bridgestone Turanza Eco B-Seal summer tire is specifically designed for compact Audi crossovers with electric powertrains. It is characterized by very low rolling resistance, low weight, and long service life, along with reliable traction on wet surfaces and comfortable handling.
This model is one of the first to feature the Enliten technology, which represents a comprehensive set of solutions. First and foremost, it is the tire's carcass design, featuring a lightweight, multi-layer synthetic cord with very high resistance to deformation. Additionally, the tire uses a special rubber compound with increased thermal conductivity, which reduces heat buildup during prolonged, uniform driving, thereby decreasing rolling resistance and fuel consumption.
The use of the B-Seal term in the name indicates the application of the same-named technology, allowing the tire to continue running even after losing air pressure. The essence of the technical solution lies in the presence of a special cavity on the inner side of the tread, filled with a unique viscous substance based on rubber. When a puncture occurs, it is drawn into the hole and almost instantly vulcanized, restoring the tire's air tightness. The diameter of the damaged area can be up to 5-6 mm.
Key features of Bridgestone Turanza Eco B-Seal
- Enliten technology provides exceptionally low rolling resistance, increases tire durability, and enhances reliability on poor roads;
- the tread pattern with large blocks ensures reliable traction and comfortable handling on both dry and wet surfaces;
- B-Seal technology allows the tire to self-heal and restore air tightness after most punctures.
