Bridgestone Techno

The Bridgestone Techno summer tire is designed for use in compact passenger cars. Developed specifically for the markets of Asian countries, it is distinguished by stable traction on dry and wet surfaces, smooth ride, low noise level, and increased resistance to wear and punctures.

The tread pattern has a minimalist design with a relatively small number of elements. The most massive of them are located on the edges of the tread. Large shoulder blocks have a trapezoidal profile, which further increases their resistance to deformation. These elements provide reliable traction when maneuvering, increasing steering accuracy, as well as reducing the risk of uneven wear and increasing the service life of the tire.

The central part of the tread features two wide continuous ribs. They reduce rolling resistance, increase directional stability at high speeds. The reliability of traction is maintained even on wet surfaces. The entire tread is dotted with numerous lamellas, forming hundreds of additional sharp edges. It is worth noting the presence of voluminous longitudinal grooves, which serve as water reservoirs, not allowing a continuous film to form between the tire and the road surface.

The tread of the tire has a profile that expands the contact patch, giving it an ellipsoidal shape. In combination with the minimalist design of the tread pattern, this improves traction and handling, prevents rapid wear, and reduces rolling resistance.
