Compound adapting to the external environment

The compound of this model was no less innovative for its time. Its composition included special RC-polymers. With their help, the tread maintains optimal elasticity, which remains virtually unchanged over a very wide temperature range. In addition, the rubber mixture has a porous structure. Miniature pores, when in contact with icy surfaces, dry them out, giving the tire additional traction with them.

When developing this tire, three-dimensional modeling technologies were widely used. With their help, such a shape and degree of stiffness of the tire sidewalls were selected, which demonstrated the best handling and traction, as well as a minimal level of noise and vibrations.
