The all-season tire Bridgestone RD713P is designed for use in so-called "mixed" conditions. Structurally, it represents a tire of the All Terrain category, but for commercial vehicles, minivans, which are used both on asphalt roads and on unpaved surfaces. It is characterized by improved traction and adhesion properties on unstable, loose surfaces, resistance to damage, and high mileage.
The tread pattern is rich in small blocks, the pointed edges and high walls of which allow for effective realization of traction on any unstable loose surface. In this regard, the elements of the shoulder zones are particularly notable, which are structurally represented by off-road tires. The blocks are arranged with a certain pitch, which made it possible to increase their number, making the contact patch larger. In combination with the optimized profile of the entire tread, this has significantly improved handling and traction on asphalt roads, reducing wear and rolling resistance, especially when driving at high speeds. It is worth noting the presence of curved lamellas cut into each block. The narrow cuts with their pointed edges enhance traction and braking intensity on wet surfaces. By giving the blocks some mobility, this solution additionally increases the tread's resistance to abrasive wear, which increases the tire's mileage.
