One of the areas where the Japanese manufacturer's engineering potential was applied was the tire's carcass. Its design uses only synthetic materials, which, in addition to being extremely lightweight, are also characterized by very high mechanical strength and resistance to aggressive external influences.
Another significant advantage of such a carcass is its ability to maintain its original shape even under strong multidirectional acceleration forces. In real operating conditions, this property manifests as very stable traction and predictable handling, which the tire demonstrates in any conditions.

Being designed for powerful sports cars, the Bridgestone Potenza S02 features a tread pattern with a very aggressive V-shaped design. In addition to its striking appearance, it boasts excellent performance, particularly at high speeds. This is achieved through the increased stiffness and massive size of all tread elements, primarily the blocks in the shoulder areas and the central longitudinal rib. Thanks to these features, the tire demonstrates exceptional directional stability, both when driving straight and when cornering.
