Asymmetric Tread Pattern
To optimize traction properties, an asymmetric tread design was used, which is characterized by a low void ratio. This design also had a positive impact on vehicle handling, making it as transparent and clear as possible.
The presence of rigid ribs, distinguished by their width, contributes to the quick response to steering wheel turns, as well as increasing traction properties on both dry and wet road surfaces.
The shoulder area is equipped with serrated ribs, which are responsible for lateral stability, contributing to the effectiveness of maneuvers at high speeds. To prevent their deformation during load reception, inclined grooves are provided.
Improved Traction Characteristics
A multi-radius profile in combination with beveled blocks increases traction properties, including on wet surfaces, while reducing the braking distance. The structure is complemented by a drainage system represented by circumferential grooves, which quickly remove excess moisture from the contact zone. According to the manufacturer, traction has been improved by 3%, and thanks to the reduction in braking distance, fuel consumption has been optimized, decreasing by 12%.
Special Features of Internal Structure
The basis of the tire is a polyester component frame in combination with a 2-layer breaker made of steel alloy. This design provides reliability of the tire, which is necessary at high speeds. Additionally, Kevlar inserts are installed in the side area, which not only increase the strength characteristics but also contribute to increasing the sensitivity of the tire to steering wheel rotation.
