Description Bridgestone Potenza RE050 I
Like all models in the Potenza lineup, the Bridgestone Potenza RE050 I summer tire is designed for use in passenger cars with enhanced dynamic characteristics. It stands out for its sporty agility in handling, providing quick reactions to driver actions and reliable traction properties, including on wet surfaces.
Some of the technologies used in this tire were "borrowed" from sports tires for road racing. First and foremost, this is the rubber compound, the composition of which includes a polymeric complex that provides high uniformity of the compound at the molecular level, exceptional strength and durability, and resistance to prolonged heating. As a result, the tread is distinguished by exceptional wear resistance for "civilian" tires. A large amount of silica adds to these properties good elasticity at low temperatures, thanks to which the tire demonstrates amazing grip on wet surfaces. It is worth noting the presence in the pattern of its tread of wide grooves, which almost completely eliminate the likelihood of forming a continuous water film in the contact patch. The asymmetrical arrangement and large size of the blocks and longitudinal rib in the center provide stable traction and uncompromising precision in handling on dry surfaces.
Key Features of Bridgestone Potenza RE050 I
