The Bridgestone PlayzRVecopia PRV-1 summer tire is designed for minivans. Developed for Asian countries, it belongs to the so-called "energy-efficient" tires. It differs from most of them with improved fuel economy while maintaining the main riding qualities.
The tread of the tire is made of a rubber compound called NanoPro-Tech. The use of modern production methods and advanced materials has improved the thermal conductivity of the compound, which reduces the heating of the tire during prolonged high-speed driving, thereby reducing rolling resistance. At the same time, the other properties of the mixture remain at a very high level. The tread is extremely resistant to wear, has excellent "grip" on a wet surface. Its pattern is characterized by the massiveness and rigidity of the elements, which reduces rolling resistance and improves handling accuracy and directional stability. Numerous water-dispelling grooves minimize the risk of aquaplaning.
