Updated studs

One of the key innovations in this model is the studs. The hard alloy insert that directly contacts the road surface has a polygonal shape and is oriented across the direction of motion. This significantly increases the traction and braking force on icy surfaces, providing effective acceleration and braking in such conditions. It is worth noting the design of the flange, which not only reliably fixes the stud in the tread but also limits its mobility under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces. In addition, the metal elements are arranged in such a way that during movement, 13 longitudinal rows are formed. This provides high stability of coupling properties on ice.

Directional tread pattern

The tread pattern is made in the so-called "Scandinavian" design with a wide arrow-shaped rib in the middle. Its solid structure reduces rolling resistance, increases directional stability, and accuracy of handling at high speeds. In turn, the numerous "branches" of the rib provide a contact patch with a large number of multidirectional edges, which allow the tire to effectively grip snowy surfaces. It is worth noting the zigzag shape of the transverse edges of the blocks at the edges of the tread. They increase traction on snow.

The tread is dotted with narrow slits. Their Z-shaped form limits the mobility of the blocks, which improves handling. At the same time, the sharp edges formed by the lamellae significantly increase the coupling properties, especially on wet surfaces and rolled snow.
