Description Bridgestone Dueler H/T 683
Given that most modern SUVs, not to mention crossovers, are used by their owners mainly on paved roads, it's no wonder that many tire manufacturers have developed tires adapted specifically for such operating conditions. The Japanese company Bridgestone has also taken a similar path, recently introducing the Dueler H/T 683 model. Thanks to the use of modern technologies and materials in its design, the company's specialists were able to give it handling and comfort comparable in level to passenger car tires. This is one of the key features of this model.
Z-shaped blocks in the center of the tread
One of such technical solutions, thanks to which this model differs in good handling and comfort on the go, is the design of the central part of the tread pattern. Here, many double Z-shaped blocks are located, each "half" of which has a trapezoidal shape. Being at a minimum distance from each other and located parallel to the direction of movement, they improve several characteristics at once. First of all, these are the coupling properties on dry asphalt, stability at high speed, as well as low rolling resistance and noise level.
Reliability on wet roads
Another characteristic feature of this model is the increased resistance to aquaplaning. This indicator was significantly improved due to the increase in the internal volume and number of drainage grooves. Moreover, they are located both longitudinally and transversely, which significantly accelerates the process of water removal from the contact patch, and with it, the reliability of the coupling properties when driving on wet roads.
