Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S – a tire from a well-known Japanese manufacturer that belongs to the All Terrain category. It is distinguished by its versatility of application in any period of the year, as well as the possibility of installation on a wide range of passenger cars.
The model's tread is designed with the possibility of operation on both asphalt and dirt surfaces. Therefore, its basis consists of medium-sized, separately located block structures. To increase their stiffness, special "bridges" were used, which are located in the dividing channels. Due to this, even under heavy load, the elements retain their shape, ensuring the stability of traction and adhesion properties. To improve handling stability and response, a central rib is provided, which has less segmentation. Thanks to it, good directional stability is achieved. And the reinforced sidewalls, which effectively counteract lateral deformations, contribute to maintaining stability during maneuvering. The tire is equipped with a developed system of channels, through which the rapid removal of mud and water masses from the contact area is realized. As a result, even in off-road conditions, the tread does not "clog", remaining operational.
As a compound, the manufacturer used a special mixture with polymer additives and silicon dioxide. This composition allows maintaining the elasticity of the tread elements in a wide temperature range. This factor provides the possibility of year-round operation, but with consideration of warmer winter periods. The presence of silica in the rubber mixture also had a positive effect on reducing abrasive wear. And this factor resulted in an increased tire life.
