Description Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 SLT
The Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 SLT winter tire is designed for operation in regions with a cold climate. It is distinguished by improved traction properties on snow and wet surfaces, ease of handling, low fuel consumption, soft ride, and the "signature" longevity and resistance to damage of Japanese brand tires.
The tread pattern features a directional arrangement of grooves and their direction against the direction of motion. This significantly enhances the traction properties in adverse weather conditions due to the high intensity of water and its heavy mixture with snow being removed from the tread. Another feature of the pattern is the distribution of blocks into groups, which creates very long curved edges in the contact patch. This increases traction on snow. In turn, the dense cutting of lamellas and their serrated edges allow maintaining stability on wet surfaces and ice. The silicone-based rubber compound enhances these properties at extremely low temperatures, providing the tire with elasticity even in such adverse conditions.
Key features of Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 SLT
- special shape and direction of drainage grooves against the direction of motion provide reliable traction in adverse weather conditions;
- increased density of lamella cutting, sharpened serrated shape of their edges increase traction properties on rolled snow, ice, and wet surfaces;
- reinforced sidewalls, rubber compound with increased wear resistance provide the tire with "signature" durability and reliability.
