The all-season Bridgestone Alenza A/S tire is designed for full-size crossovers and SUVs. This model is adapted for year-round use on paved roads, having extremely limited effectiveness off-road. It is characterized by a long service life, fuel efficiency, and improved traction properties on wet surfaces.
The tread profile and tread pattern of the tire are optimized to ensure that the contact area with the road surface is as large as possible and does not change its shape and size even at high longitudinal and transverse acceleration. This improves traction properties and significantly reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread. The tread is made from a rubber compound obtained using the Nano Pro-Tech technology. Its feature is the application of a compound that, in addition to a large amount of silica, includes special polymers. They increase the strength of the rubber compound at the molecular level, improving its resistance to tearing and stretching while maintaining high elasticity. During the operation of the tire, this results in excellent resistance to mechanical damage, including abrasive wear, as well as excellent traction on wet surfaces.
An important feature of the tire is its tread pattern. It is distinguished by an increased number of traction edges, which largely determines the possibility of using this model throughout the year. Also worth noting are the rounded transverse edges of the blocks. This solution preserves the contact patch area during braking, increasing the intensity of deceleration, especially at high speeds.
