Description Brasa Icecontrol
The Brasa IceControl winter tire is one of the debut models of a recently established European company that has located its tire production facilities in Asia. The combination of German engineering and Asian cost-effectiveness has provided car owners with the opportunity to purchase a tire that has an extremely attractive price-to-quality ratio.
Asymmetric Tread Pattern
Aiming to give the tire maximum versatility, the developers preferred to use an asymmetric tread pattern, equally effective on surfaces with very different characteristics. Versatility is ensured by its division into several functional zones, each of which improves certain operational characteristics.
In particular, two wide longitudinal ribs located in the central part of the tread increase directional stability, reduce rolling resistance, and give the tire's reactions to steering wheel turns quickness and accuracy. In turn, the wide transversely arranged blocks of the shoulder zones improve traction when maneuvering and cornering, as well as reduce the braking distance, ensuring passability on sections with deep snow cover.
Excellent Traction on Icy Roads
This model demonstrates excellent traction on slippery roads covered with snow and ice due to several design features. First and foremost, it is the physical properties of the compound, which can maintain elasticity even at very low temperatures, thanks to the increased content of silica in its composition. Another factor that ensures good traction on slippery roads is the presence of several thousand additional traction edges formed by numerous wavy lamellas. In combination with dozens of spikes, this allows maintaining absolute control over the vehicle's trajectory even on bare ice.
Key Features of the Brasa Icecontrol Tire
