Bontyre BT-228 (Шип)

Unlike most other tire products released under this brand, the Bontyre all-season truck tire was specifically designed for operation on minivans and light trucks with the possibility of installation on any axis. In addition, the size range of this model consists of three types of sizes for wheels with a landing diameter of 16 inches, which significantly expands its applicability.

Year-round operation capability

This tire is distinguished by excellent traction and coupling properties, both on summer and winter types of coverage. This became possible because the tread pattern consists entirely of separate rectangular blocks grouped into four longitudinal ribs. The small number of tread elements of the Bontyre BT-228 made it possible to significantly increase their size. The massive blocks have a greater resistance to dynamic deformation, which made it possible to provide excellent handling on dry surfaces.

At the same time, they form a multitude of edges, thanks to which the tire demonstrates excellent traction and coupling properties on snowy surfaces. Additionally, additional coupling edges are formed by special lamellae that are located on the surface of each block. Due to this, more reliable coupling with an icy road is ensured. At the same time, the tire tread is equipped with seats for studs, the installation of which will make it possible to significantly increase the safety of movement on ice.

Long service life

In addition to good coupling, massive tread blocks made it possible to significantly extend the service life of the tire. They contribute to a more even distribution of pressure over the contact patch, due to which the tread becomes more resistant to uneven wear. Also, special components were added to the rubber mixture that provided the tread with increased resistance to abrasive wear.
