Description Blackstone CD 2000
The Blackstone CD 2000 summer tire is installed on a wide range of passenger cars. It is characterized by its effectiveness in countering aquaplaning, sensitivity of handling and duration of the operational period.
The rubber compound of the tread contains special additives that make it elastic and flexible even at high temperatures. This feature has had a positive impact on the preservation of operational characteristics in various weather conditions and the duration of use.
The tread in its central part contains two ring-shaped ribs separated by a deep channel. This achieves stabilization of movement in a straight line and prevents the formation of a continuous water film in the contact zone. Thus, the risk of hydroplaning is minimized.
In the middle zone, there are rhomboid blocks with diagonal notches. This allows improving traction and grip characteristics, ensuring sensitive handling and reducing the braking distance.
Main features of Blackstone CD 2000
- protection against aquaplaning due to an extensive hydroevacuation system;
- ease of handling due to central solid ribs;
- good traction, including on wet asphalt, due to numerous lamellas with a diagonal arrangement.
