Effective braking on slippery surfaces
The model demonstrates outstanding efficiency when slowing down on ice, compacted snow, and wet roads. This is achieved through the synergy of a directed symmetrical tread and a special rubber compound, which allows significantly reducing the braking distance in critical situations.
Visually, the tread is characterized by high density and complexity of the pattern, where every detail has a clear functional purpose. Its entire surface is dotted with numerous narrow slits (lamellas), which form thousands of sharp, gripping edges. These microscopic "teeth" actively grip into ice and compacted snow, providing intense acceleration and effective deceleration on the most slippery surfaces. The key feature is their three-dimensional, "volumetric" structure. Such lamellas do not simply close under load, but maintain their shape, providing stability of traction and braking properties, as well as even wear.
The production uses a highly elastic rubber mixture enriched with silicon dioxide ("silica"). This technology allows maintaining the elasticity of the rubber at extremely low temperatures, which is critically important for reliable grip on icy roads. Additionally, such a composition increases the tire's wear resistance, reducing the rate of wear and minimizing the risk of punctures and cuts.
