The massiveness of the elements in combination with the optimized profile of the running part increases the contact patch, improving traction, ensuring more even wear. The blocks are arranged in pairs, which lengthens the transverse edges formed by them, improving traction and braking properties on wet pavement. In the central part, such a scheme of element placement forms a solid longitudinal rib, which reduces rolling resistance and heat generation when driving at high speeds.
