The Belshina Bel-117 winter tire is designed for use in regions with so-called "European" winters. It is distinguished by improved traction on wet and snowy surfaces, resistance to damage, and increased mileage.

The tread pattern is dominated by small blocks. The polygonal shape of the elements increases the number of edges formed by them, which improves traction properties on snow. The large number of lamellas that abound in the tread increases the effectiveness of the tire's operation on wet surfaces and rolled snow. The special arrangement of drainage grooves allows avoiding aquaplaning even at high speeds, and on uncleared snowy roads - maintaining reliable control.
