Bearway BW-Ice – a classic friction tire, applied to a wide range of passenger cars. It is characterized by stability of traction and braking properties, improved handling and extended service life.
The tread is made of large blocks, forming several ribs. The central one has a solid structure with diagonal non-through grooves. It is responsible for the responsiveness of handling at speed, as well as contributing to increased traction. The block structures of the middle and shoulder zones have a sufficiently large area, forming a wide contact patch. Densely covered with lamellas, they reliably fix the tire on a slippery surface, protecting against skidding. Wide drainage channels with a narrower base participate in the self-cleaning of the tread, draining water, dirt, and snow.
A special compound was used in the tire, which adapts to temperature fluctuations, maintaining the elasticity of the tread blocks. The result is the preservation of working characteristics in a wide temperature range.
Main features of Bearway BW-Ice
- pronounced block structure with an extensive system of lamellas allows maintaining traction in any winter conditions;
- large blocks form a wide contact patch, contributing to the stabilization of transport during maneuvering;
- a solid central rib ensures handling sensitivity.
