The Barez Wintertech P642 winter tire is a "passenger" model specifically designed for safe operation during the cold season on roads with variable winter surfaces - from dry asphalt to wet and snowy roads. This tire is aimed at drivers who value predictability of vehicle behavior, confident traction, and stability while driving, both in urban conditions and on highways, when the air temperature is constantly below zero degrees Celsius and road conditions can change quickly.
Special construction
The tread is made with a directional pattern, characteristic of modern friction winter tires. This configuration promotes effective removal of meltwater and snow slush from the contact patch, helping to maintain traction during braking and cornering. Deep grooves and their V-shaped arrangement also improve directional stability and reduce the risk of aquaplaning, which is especially important on sections with wet asphalt after thawing or during the change of weather seasons.
The developed system of lamellas in the tread blocks plays a key role in ensuring traction properties on ice and compacted snow. Numerous thin cuts create additional edges for grip, increasing the effectiveness of braking and helping the vehicle to respond faster to steering actions in conditions of low friction. This solution improves control over the vehicle during complex maneuvers and makes driving more predictable even on slippery surfaces.
Special compound
The tread rubber compound is adapted to the winter climate, retains elasticity at low temperatures, and promotes close contact with the road surface. Due to this, the tire's traction properties remain stable even in severe frosts, and the compound loses its characteristics more slowly during operation. This recipe is also focused on resistance to abrasive wear, which has a positive effect on the service life of the tire during daily operation in winter conditions.
Key features of Barez Wintertech P642:
- directional tread with V-shaped pattern provides effective performance on dry, wet, and snowy roads;
- developed lamella system increases traction and reliability of handling on slippery roads;
- elastic "winter" rubber compound retains its working properties at negative temperatures and ensures even wear.
