The central ribs of the tread consist of elongated and curved blocks with recesses on the bends. Due to this, the formation of numerous traction edges is achieved. Since the blocks have an increased area, the contact patch also becomes larger, which allows for improved maneuverability and response to the slightest movement of the steering wheel.
