The Autogrip P308 summer tire is perfectly suited for most modern passenger cars. This model is offered in 50 different sizes with a rim diameter from 14 to 18 inches. At the same time, the tire has impressive operational characteristics, as evidenced by the high speed indices assigned to it - from T to W.

Asymmetric tread pattern design

This model is equipped with a highly efficient tread pattern, which is distinguished by the asymmetric arrangement of tread elements. This solution was due to the desire to provide the Autogrip P308 tire with excellent grip when driving on wet and damp roads. That's why the tread pattern consists of two parts. One of the main functions of the inner side of the tread is to drain water from the contact patch, for which it is equipped with numerous drainage channels. The wide longitudinal rib, located on the outer side of the tread, is distinguished by massive dimensions and very high rigidity, which gave the tire excellent directional stability and lightning-fast reactions to steering wheel turns.

Low noise level

When creating the tread pattern of this tire, much attention was paid to ensuring a high level of driving comfort. With the help of computer modeling tools, which replaced millions of kilometers of real tests, the drainage channels in the central part of the tread acquired their original shape, allowing to reduce the noise level.

- The asymmetric design of the directional tread pattern provides refined handling, excellent grip on a wet surface;
- Three wide longitudinal ribs in the central part of the tread have special notches, which ensure excellent directional stability, as well as high acceleration and braking efficiency;
- Four longitudinal drainage grooves, located in the central part of the tread, allow for quick and efficient removal of water from the contact patch, which makes the tire demonstrate excellent resistance to aquaplaning;
- The low noise level is ensured by the special shape of the transverse grooves, selected using computer modeling tools;
- The reinforced and lightweight frame provides high resistance to dynamic deformation, which has a beneficial effect not only on handling but also on rolling resistance.
