Auplus Wintersport

The Auplus Wintersport winter tire demonstrates its greatest efficiency in moderately cold climates. The model belongs to the category of friction, non-studded tires and combines confident traction on snow, comfortable movement and durability.

The tire's tread has a directional V-shaped pattern, optimized for efficient snow, water and slush removal from the contact patch. The central zone consists of two composite longitudinal ribs that stabilize the vehicle during straight-line movement and promote steering accuracy. Large blocks in the shoulder areas form an additional number of traction edges, improving maneuverability and stability on snowy roads. Special attention is paid to the system of multilayered lamellas: they are made with a three-dimensional profile, which prevents their excessive displacement under load and maintains traction stability on ice.

The tire's rubber compound is based on high-dispersion "silica" and natural rubber, providing elasticity at low temperatures and reducing the risk of tread hardening. This combination improves traction with the road surface and reduces the braking distance on icy asphalt. Thermally stable polymers added to the composition contribute to the preservation of the mixture's properties stability during temperature changes, preventing tread destruction during operation during thaws

The tire's carcass is reinforced with a two-layer steel breaker and a nylon cord, increasing the construction's strength and resistance to punctures. This makes the model reliable when driving on rough roads or when contacting small obstacles, such as ice formations.
