Description Arroyo Grand Sport 2
The Arroyo Grand Sport 2 tire is designed for passenger cars. The tread pattern combines a wide central rib, two rows of lateral blocks, and shoulder areas with frequent transverse sipes. Four circumferential grooves run between these zones.
Tread Center
The central rib features a continuous main surface. Short, slanted grooves are positioned along its edges, without fully crossing the rib. Adjacent rows are separated by longer, curved sipes. Their slanted edges alternate around the circumference of the tire, creating a distinctive pattern in the central zone.
Channels and Shoulder Areas
The circumferential grooves are connected to transverse sipes between the blocks. In the shoulder zones, these sipes are more densely spaced and extend to the edges of the tread. This channel network provides pathways for water to escape from the contact patch. The tread combines large contact areas with open spaces between them.
