The Arivo Terramax ARV A/T tire is used in SUVs and pickup trucks. This model, although belonging to the All Terrain category, was developed using the same technical solutions as "mud" tires. The only difference from them is the less aggressive tread pattern, which improves operational properties on paved roads.
The symmetric tread pattern is distinguished by an increased number of gripping edges. They are formed by blocks and lamellas cut into them. This significantly improves traction on any slippery surface. At the same time, it remains unchanged even when moving backward, thanks to the non-directional tread pattern. Another important feature is the design of the shoulder areas and sidewalls. When the pressure inside the tire is reduced, the blocks located here increase their useful area, which has a positive effect on passability.
