The Aplus A919 summer tire is designed for medium-sized passenger cars. The model is offered in several dozen sizes for wheels with a mounting diameter of 16 to 18 inches. It is characterized by a high level of driving and acoustic comfort, reliable behavior on wet roads, and stability at high speeds.
Four longitudinal grooves in the center
The central part of the tread pattern features four voluminous longitudinal grooves. These elements perform several functions. First and foremost, they prevent the effect of aquaplaning. Additionally, the longitudinal grooves improve stability at high speeds, provide quickness and accuracy in response to the driver's actions.
Open design of the shoulder zones
Additional resistance to aquaplaning is provided by the open shoulder zones. The drainage grooves located here ensure rapid water removal. In turn, the shoulder blocks, which are massive in size, prevent lateral skidding and facilitate the car handling process.
Lamellas
The tread pattern is characterized by a high content of lamellas. Narrow slits perform several functions. One of them is to improve the traction properties on wet surfaces. Additionally, these elements, having a curved shape and being arranged at an angle and in different directions, give the tire a softer ride and ensure even wear of the tread.
