The Aplus A502 tire is designed primarily for compact passenger cars. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use in urban conditions. It is characterized by stable traction properties on any slippery surface, comfortable handling, and a quiet and smooth ride.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a large number of lamellas. Narrow sinusoidal cuts, due to the "three-dimensionality" of their vertical walls, are located at a distance of a few millimeters from each other, forming thousands of transverse traction edges. This significantly increases the effectiveness of the tire on slippery surfaces due to excellent traction and braking intensity. Enlarged water drainage grooves and the curved shape of some of them provide resistance to aquaplaning. The increased tread width and its optimized profile, increasing the contact patch, enhance the traction properties on dry surfaces.
Key features:
- excellent longitudinal traction thanks to several thousand transverse 3D lamellas;
- a rubber compound based on natural rubber and silicon dioxide gives the tire "grip";
- a large width of water drainage grooves reduces the risk of hydroplaning.
