Description Annaite Arctic I-8
Winter tire for passenger cars Annaite Arctic I-8 belongs to the so-called "friction" models. It is distinguished by stable traction on ice, snow and wet pavement, handling comfort, acoustic comfort, and softness of the ride.
The tread pattern is filled with numerous notches. The walls of the slits have a "three-dimensional" profile, fixing them in an open position when touching the road surface. As a result, sharp edges are formed, allowing for intense acceleration and braking even on bare ice. This ability is significantly enhanced by the characteristics of the rubber compound. The increased content of "silica" in the compound allows the tire to remain elastic at low temperatures.
Main features of Annaite Arctic I-8
- high density of lamella notching improves traction and adhesion properties on ice, snow and wet pavement;
- rubber compound with increased "silica" content remains elastic even at very low temperatures;
- optimized tread pattern and special profile shape increase the contact patch, improving traction properties and ensuring ease of handling when changing direction.
