Description Annaite AN 658
The winter tire Annaite AN 658 belongs to the so-called "friction" models, differing in the greatest efficiency on snowy roads. In such conditions, it demonstrates stable traction, comfort in handling, low noise and vibration levels.
The directional tread pattern consists of many small blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that when moving in the contact patch, a continuous series of sharpened V-shaped edges is formed. This allows for intense acceleration and braking on snow. This is largely contributed by the cross-shaped grooves in the shoulder areas, which compact and retain snow masses in the tread, significantly increasing traction. Another important feature of the pattern is the increased density of the lamella notches. Narrow slits with sharpened edges maintain handling and stable traction on wet and icy surfaces.
Main features of Annaite AN 658
- a large number of small blocks improves traction properties on snow;
- densely notched lamellas provide stability and reliability of handling on ice and wet surfaces;
- stepwise arrangement of blocks reduces noise and vibration.
