5-rib tread pattern

The design of the symmetric tread pattern of this tire features five longitudinal ribs. Each of them consists of a multitude of wide blocks of complex polygonal shape. Thanks to this, the contact patch has numerous gripping edges arranged in different directions. As a result, the tire demonstrates good gripping properties on any slippery surfaces.
An exception is the central longitudinal rib, the individual elements of which are connected by rigid bridges. This solution made it possible to significantly improve the directional stability, as well as provide fast and accurate responses to steering wheel turns.

Large contact patch size

This model is distinguished by a tread of increased width, which was achieved due to a number of changes in the design of the carcass. In particular, it received additional reinforcement in the form of a two-layer breaker. This significantly increased the size of the contact patch, and also provided stability of geometric parameters when exposed to centrifugal acceleration forces. As a result, not only the gripping properties but also the handling, characterized by reliability and predictability, have improved.
