Tyres Amine
- Origins: Unknown
The Tunisian company Amine was founded in 1980. Currently, it is the only manufacturer of car tires in this African country. It has two factories with a capacity of around 650 thousand tires per year, with the possibility of expanding production to 1 million rubber products. They are distributed across the following categories:
- tires for passenger cars;
- tires for SUVs and crossovers;
- tires for commercial vehicles of small and medium capacity;
- "truck" tires;
- tires for special equipment.
Currently, the range of passenger car tires includes 5 models. A common feature of them is balanced characteristics. Along with safety on dry and wet surfaces and ease of handling, such tires are distinguished by a smooth and quiet ride, resistance to abrasive wear. Depending on the "target audience" of the products, they may have improved corresponding properties. For example, Amine Palma has such properties as sports handling, increased stability at high speeds.
This line of tires from this brand was created taking into account the road conditions of North Africa. It contains models designed for use on either asphalt roads or sandy surfaces. A "signature" feature of such tires is increased strength and resistance to damage, softness of the ride on unevenness.
Amine commercial tires for light trucks and vans are designed for use in the most difficult road conditions. They are distinguished by increased load capacity for their class, which allows the tire to virtually painlessly withstand strong impacts and prolonged operation with overload.
This line is one of the most numerous. This is due to the rather specific operating conditions for which such tires are designed. Some models are designed for mixed conditions, being effective on both asphalt roads and dirt roads. Part of the "truck" line is designed for use in large-capacity buses used on urban and regional routes.
The line of tires for special equipment is distributed across the following categories:
- tires for agricultural machines and equipment;
- tires for industrial equipment;
- tires for the mining industry.
Agricultural tires are represented by models for tractors and towed equipment used in field work and cargo transportation. They are distinguished by a design adapted for operation on soft and medium-hard ground, while having a large margin of strength and good wear resistance.
Industrial tires of the brand are tires with a diagonal tread pattern, which have high traction properties. Other strong sides of such models include resistance to damage, which largely determines their ability to long-term operation in the most difficult conditions for tire products.
