Altenzo Sports Navigator VI

The Altenzo Sports Navigator VI tyre is designed for crossovers and SUVs, most of which are used on asphalt roads. The model is oriented towards high speeds, combining precise handling, acoustic comfort, and increased tread life.

Asymmetric tread pattern for confident control

Most of the model's strong driving qualities are due to the use of a tread pattern with an asymmetric arrangement of elements. Wide longitudinal grooves intensively drain water from the contact patch, reducing the likelihood of aquaplaning. Diagonal transverse grooves accelerate the drying of the working surface, and rigid longitudinal ribs support directional stability at high speeds. The outer shoulder area has increased stiffness, which allows the vehicle to respond more accurately to steering wheel turns.

Design solutions for prolonged operation

Although the manufacturer does not highlight separate proprietary technologies, the model's design uses a number of effective engineering solutions. The reinforced shoulder area prevents accelerated wear of the outer and inner edges of the tread, which is especially relevant for heavy crossovers. The 2-layer steel breaker prevents deformation in the contact patch area when driving at high speeds, ensuring precise handling.

Comfort without compromising safety

The tread consists of blocks of different sizes, which reduces the intensity of resonant noises during rolling. The rounded transitions between the shoulder area and the sidewall make the vehicle's reactions smoother when maneuvering. At the same time, the optimized profile distributes pressure across the entire contact area, helping to slow down wear and maintain stable characteristics over a long period of operation. An additional benefit is the reduced rolling resistance, which decreases fuel consumption.

Key features of the Altenzo Sports Navigator VI:

- asymmetric tread pattern with four longitudinal channels supports stable grip on dry and wet surfaces;
- reinforced shoulder area reduces uneven wear, increasing the tyre's lifespan when used on heavy SUVs;
- two-layer breaker increases the stability of the structure and maintains precise handling at high speeds;
- optimized design and arrangement of tread blocks improve acoustic comfort.
